| Kara Davison Designer Kara grew up in Kansas City, Missouri (not Kansas) where she studied graphic design. After a semester in the design program, she had an epiphany: Some book nerds make a career out of designing book covers. She spent the next few years obsessively learning all she could about the field, and is excited to combine her love of art and reading.
